Birla Open Minds' admission process is designed to ensure that every child is afforded a fair and equal opportunity to nurture their abilities and reach their educational potential. The admission procedure commences a year in advance.

For students aged 3 to 18 and above, seeking admission in classes ranging from PreNursery to XII, our admission process is open annually, starting from October. Prior to admission, prospective students undergo interviews and assessments to determine their suitability. The academic year commences in April each year.

To secure admission for a future session, parents or guardians must complete and submit the registration-cum-admission form, along with the prescribed fees, at the school. Preference is given to students who have registered earlier, provided they meet the necessary criteria. Pre-registration is a prerequisite for admission, and verifiable proof of the child's age is mandatory.

Students transferring from other schools should provide their transfer certificates and progress reports during the admission process. Additionally, new students are required to present their original Birth Certificates and submit a copy for our records.

The school fees can be paid in person at the School Office, using card/online mode only. Furthermore, it is mandatory for all parents to complete the ECS mandate.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

1. Priority admission will be given to Birla Pre-school students for enrolment at Birla Open Minds International School.
2. Consideration of the neighbourhood residence parameter will only apply if it is mandated by local regolatory authorities
3. Admission preference will also be extended to siblings of existing students. However, the minimum admission criteria will still be applicable. Conditions to this preference include special consideration if the sibling has a learning disability, contingent on the availability of a support system. In cases of physical disability, admissions will be granted at the discretion of the management.

Admission for Students with Special Needs

Admission for children with special needs will be coordinated through the Department of Education. Decisions will be based on the facilities and services that Birla Open Minds International School can provide to support these students.
